Bushtrail's facilities
Accommodation
We
can accommodate 120 children, sleeping in bungalows on bunk
beds which have foam rubber mattresses.
The ablution facilities have hot and cold running showers and there are flush toilets.
The accommodation for the staff is situated close to the children. The teachers' rooms have their own toilet facilities.
Bedding is supplied for staff only. We do have a few sleeping bags and pillows for those in need of them.
Meals
Three substantial well-balanced and well liked meals are provided
daily.
The children are not involved in the preparing or cleaning up of
meals. Cutlery and crockery are provided.
Medical
Children will be children!!
In the case of minor cuts and
bruises we
have a well stocked first aid kit.
In the event of anything more
serious, the local doctor is within 20 minutes drive and the
Krugersdorp hospital is 1/2 an hour away.
Recreation
Bushtrail has
a wide variety of sporting facilities. There
are two
chlorinated, fenced swimming pools, baseball, volley ball, table
tennis, tennis courts, an obstacle
course and lots of lawn for soccer,
cricket etc.
